Matcha mint julep

Matcha Mint Julep

Serves: 1

Prep time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 matcha green tea bags
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • handful of mint
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • plenty of ice
  • boiling water for tea

Directions

  1. Drop the teabag into a cup of boiling water and let it steep for a few minutes.
  2. Put some mint into the bottom of an 8 ounce glass, add sugar and muddle with a wooden spoon or honey dipper.
  3. Add bourbon and fill the rest of the glass with ice.
  4. Then, fill the rest of the glass with green tea and serve immediately.
