Prep Time: 5 minutes + 2 hours refrigeration time

  • 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 8 teaspoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cups of water
  • Sparkling water
  • Bourbon or rum


  1. Combine ingredients and refrigerate at least two hours.
  2. Before serving, strain through a sieve.
  3. Adjust the taste by adding sweetner if desired.
  4. Pour over ice and mix with sparkling water or, if you’re making a cocktail, add 2 ounces of bourbon or rum.
  5. Mixture will keep for several days.
